Federal judicial nominees advance to full Senate
Read Article The Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday advanced three nominees for the federal bench in Kansas to the full Senate for consideration. A split committee signed off on the nominations of Kansas Bureau of Investigation Director Tony Mattivi, Kansas Solicitor General Anthony Powell and Great Bend lawyer Jeffrey Kuhlman. The three nominees have largely sailed through the nomination process so far without running into any significant difficulty from Democrats on the Judiciary Committee
