Judge denies request to allow No Labels candidates on ballot
Read Article A Shawnee County judge on Thursday dismissed litigation seeking to keep the secretary of state from disqualifying two candidates who sought to run for statewide offices as members of the No Labels Party. Political consultant Kris Van Meteren and former state Republican Party Chair David Miller asked a judge to force state election officials to allow them to run for statewide office. Van Meteren had filed to run for secretary of state.
