Kelly vetoes two abortion-related bills
Read Article Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly on Monday vetoed a bill that would make it easier for women who undergo an abortion to sue a physician for malpractice if they weren’t provided sufficient information about the procedure under the Women’s Right to Know law. She also vetoed separate legislation specifying that information required to be provided by abortion providers under the law shall be on a form developed and provided by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
